Using PostBot

PostBot is an IRC bot designed to allow bugtracker queries, wiki change notifications and subversion commit notifications over IRC. This saves you logging onto the bugtracker to view the status of a bug (e.g. if it is open or confirmed). All channel users are allowed to use PostBot.

How to find out which bugs are open

To ask PostBot which bugs are open, simply ask him to 'show open bugs':

<Brain> show open bugs
<PostBot> There are no bugs open. Try again later.

How to find out the status of a bug

To find out the status on a bug by number, simply ask PostBot about the bug by number, for example:

[17:38] <Brain> bug #171
[17:38] <PostBot> Bug #171: "chanmode +p issue", reported by dotslasher (dotslasher) Bug URL:
        http://www.inspircd.org/bugtrack/view_bug.php?bug_id=171  [FIXED] [CLOSED] [CONFIRMED]

How to find out what the last wiki change was

To find out the last wiki change, simply ask PostBot about the last wiki change, for example:

[17:38] <Brain> show last wiki change
